Steps won't stay extended
In a two week period I had my front TV/theater system updated and me MCD shades installed. Now my steps will not stay extended when I turn on/off the step switch. I have checked the fuse. Any ideas? I am wondering if so drone shorted something during install, my pitch light was also out.

You may want to check three ground wires one gray wire will work through the screen door switch and is connected under coach to a location on chassis frame another is a green wire out of step control and connects to the step base plate the control is mounted to, the last heavy green wire, out of control unit, is connected to the chassis frame also but usually is the best connection to frame and should not find a problem with it.
I have found more problems with the door switch wire that needs to be cleaned periodically because of salts or road grime getting under screw connection of wire loop connector.
Porch light should have its fuse through the porch light switch.
A wire lead goes from control unit through the brake pedal switch also to a ground so when you turn on ignition switch the step will retract if it was extended.

We have 2011 Mountainaire and the steps did the same with us. We lubed the connections to the steps and has worked fine since.

If it works and than does not work could turn out to be motor that you can find at a NAPA store.
I would try the three grounds first especially the door switch one which is often overlooked.
