Storage area tie-rings

Iíve seen the posts on adding shelving in the compartments. Has anyone installed tie rings on the walls to facilitate some vertical storage?

What are the wall made of in the storage compartment?

Have added numerous shelves to our coach and see no reason why your idea won't work. Have added 150 lbs. of weight to our shelves with no problem. Should work out good. May try a couple rings on our Newmar.

I put one in to keep a telescoping ladder from falling over.

I put D rings on the wall in the front driver side compartment to hold up my pressure washer and air compressor. The walls are wood, covered by carpet.

I haven't added any tie rings...yet, but I do secure things to existing tie points using bungee loop-and-ball ties.

I've used them for years with great success...despite a few knuckle raps when you lose control of the ball.
