While we are fairly new to our motor home we would like to know the best way to store. Do we store it with the slides in or out or what is the preferred? We have a 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire gas 35 feet. Thanks for all your help.

While I can't think of a good reason not to store with slides extended if space is not restricted, especially if stored indoors, I would imagine most people, like me, store with them closed. Maybe others can share some insight ?

Welcome to the forum and the RV lifestyle - enjoy !

Welcome Ready2rv
Need some more information. What, part of country? Where are you storing it, inside, outside, under a roof. How offend will you visit the RV.
Some things to remember, heat and condensation are the inside killers of RVs. So no matter where you store the RV, you must protect it from them.
On some dark paint finishes they have had paint checking from being parked in the sun.
When you add more information, you'll learn more from the members on storing the RV.

No time frame being mentioned it wouldn't matter.
This link will give you some general ideas and if its during hot weather you may need some of the small moisture absorbers.
I would leave your slides in during storage and possibly place your tires on plywood or those large plastic cutting boards you see in stores to protect your tires from ground moisture.
There are links in Quick Tips that will help also.

Thank you guys. The links and suggestions really give us ideas on where to start. We are in the central valley of California. Gets pretty hot in the summer months. We are storing our MH on a concrete pad under a metal cover. No direct sun. We will be probably traveling in the MH every couple of months from March thru Nov and then maybe once or twice during the winter months. Winter months are not severe here. Gets to freezing temp just a few times during the winter months. Just enough to ruin the crops but doesn't stay that way long.
