Storm Door

Is there a storm door or Lexan covers available as an "add-on" for the screen door on our "15 DSDP. We have been used to having our door open when at our site to see out. Our Cedar Creek 5ver had what was called a "soft top" which was a super clear, sup thick plastic film that covered the screens but was a removable panel. Thanks for any advice on this.

storm door

measure it, and go to lowes and have it cut for you, about 35.00. then buy the plastic things to hold it in. drill 1/8 inch hole for them.

We spend most of our time in hot climates and wanted to keep the door open for light. On our prior coach, I made covers for the screens out of lexan so we could keep teh cooled air from exiting the coach. That worked fine, the only downside was that they would rattle when driving. On our new Dutchstar, I went to the local boat upholstery guy and got some clear vinyl that they use for boat cockpit enclosures. Cuts easily with scissors and attached to the screen door with Velcro. The plus about using this stuff is you can take it off in a few seconds and roll it up and store in the basement when you want the breeze to be coming thru the screen plus, it doesn't rattle .
