Strange Bose Soundbar just quit. Thoughts?

The Bose Soundbar on the TV by the dinette isn’t putting sound out. All the lights are working as normal, the remote has new batteries, the sound will come through the TV speakers if I turn the volume up on them. The outside TV and Soundbar are working fine.

The Bose manual isn’t much help and I can’t locate the Sony TV manual. This is on a 2018 New Aire.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to get the Bose synced back up with the Sony?

Check to see if optical cable is hooked up on the Bose and TV. Pair with your phone and see if you can get sound that way.

Unplug the sound bar. Wait a few minutes, plug back in. Also WinePress is correct in his trouble shoot advice.

Your source has become switched.

Bluetooth will auto switch the Source. Sometimes it won’t switch back.

When you use the remote, I like to press the Bluetooth button which usually will work.

When the signal comes into the Bose from another source, ie TV, it will switch to that.

Keep in mind that those buttons at the top of the remote are SOURCE select buttons and will also change the remotes functions.

Unplugging and replugging the Bose worked a treat. I should have thought to try that.
