On a 2005 KSDP 3907 there is a pocket door between the kitchen area and the bath area. Does anyone know how it is secured when it is in the open position? I haven't been able to pull it out, but it seems like it may be secured with velcro. If so, it is the toughest velcro I have ever come across, cannot get the door to release.
Thanks,
Mike

I have the same pocket door. Mine is held open by velcro.

Howdy Mikelm48,
In my other life I was a finish carpenter and worked with 'pocket' doors in houses@#$%$^...sorry.... They are boogers if they get off of the track..
DON'T FORCE IT TOO MUCH!! The rollers are plates held on by little screws
and if the plates get bent you have to tear the whole unit out of the wall..
THAT IS IN A HOUSE CONSTRUCTION SITUATION!!!!!!!!!
A Newmar is a well built coach and the factory can proably advise you on
the problem.. Do like we didin college HANG A SHEET UP!!!

Hi mikelm48,
Velcro for me too. However, like butterbean posted, make sure it is on its' rollers and track. Mine has come off the track and it was very difficult to get back on.

Evidently the previous owners never opened the door.
New Velcro will require constant use and will release easier in time.
You just need to pull steady on door and it will release.
If your door did come off track there is a loop latch on forward roller to lock it on track.
Just a steady pull should do it not jerky movements please.

Thanks for all the replies. Now that I know what I am dealing with I will work on it again. It did move a small amount and did not seem like it was off the track, but I will check that first.

Try pulling it from the top and bottom. Do not pull with latch as it will break!

My brass pull has a hole in it for finger, use a steady pull holding top of door so it will not lift out of track. Pull both towards you.
Should have been more precise.
