While there are indeed the "usual" fast food eateries that I'll also list here, I thought I'd start a thread to help those folks out that are first time visitors to Nappanee...Feel free to offer some other locations with brief directions if possible...
Directions are from Delaware Street, which is where the BIG SIGN that says Newmar is...(remember Dirk??)
The usual fast food eateries exist:

Burger King: East on 6 go 3 lights on right...
Dairy Queen: East on 6 through 4th light on left...

Pizza Hut: East on 6 through 3rd light on left.
Subway: East on 6 through 3rd light on left.
Taco Bell/KFC East on 6th through 4th light.
Some others...
Borkholder's Dutch Village: W on 6 one block to County Road 101 then 1/2 mi. on left.
Corner Cafe: E on 6 turn right 1st light then one block on left.
Country Table: E on 6 through 3rd light on right,in Country Center Shop Center.
Hunter's Hideaway: E on 6 turn right at 1st light (Route 19) and is 1/2 block on left.
Main Street Coffee House: E on 6 one light then turn left, it's on right as you turn.
Mancino's: Go 3/4 mi. W on 6 and is on right.

I highly recommend Mary's for fresh deli sandwiches, soups and desserts...
We found the Main Street Coffee House and I'd describe it as a Starbucks on steroids, with GREAT sandwiches and wraps...There are tables to sit and eat and even a few couches.
Corner Cafe is my new favorite for breakfast, it's where everyone thinks I'm the Mayor...LOL!!
Mancino's has "very good" Italian fare, with a "not really fast food" feel...
Hunter's Hideaway is the closest place for folks that want to have an alcoholic beverage and they do have a non-smoking area as well.

If you have your car with you and don't mind a 17 mile run, there's an Olive Garden on the north end of Elkhart on the right side of the main drag. From Newmar drive east to the main four corners, turn left and drive. About 17 miles you will be in Elkhart and near OG. My wife is a big fan of the OG particularly their salad.

Wait until Bob gives you directions to the Slippery Owl.
I was driving, Bob was navigating.
We got there, and the food was excellent, but it's the Sleepy Owl.
Sigh.

How 'bout the new Farmer's Market up #19, just south of I-20? Lots of goodies to help with the weight gain program and something to do when Nappanee slows down. Only open Thurs, Fri and Sat.

Contrary to any unfounded rumors, Bob was navigating not aggravating.

Slabman called this one correctly.
Bob and I hit this place and sampled all food groups, popcorn, ice cream, etc.

Yu might try the "Tap & Dine" near the center of town. Lots of local flavor and the steaks are pretty good.

For lunch, lets add Martin's Supermarket. Their "Side Door Deli" is a great soup, salad, and sandwich place. DAVE

Bob knows all the great places to eat in Napanee, The Hunters Hidaway is my favorite, and I was first there with Bob.
