Well, I see the '08's mount their Hadley horns inside the front sliding genset compartment. For me I never minded them on the roof. Still, both the EXDP and the KADP have two only air horns and two mickey mouse beep horns, while many Prevost conversions have four roof mounted Hadleys.

Well, now I got them all beat. I removed the mickey mouse beeper horns and installed a large chrome tri-set of Train Horns. That gives me five air horns. You wouldn't believe the sound when all five open up. The train horns are so loud I had to reverse the connections so I could operate without the train horns in the city as if you ever pulled the trigger on these bad boys in a mall parking lot, somebody may have a cardiac arrest. But, where I may need it, the highway, I can turn them on to operate with the upper.
I've got pictures of the install, which I did with help also from a friend.
I bought the train horn assembly from The Great American Chrome Shop at exit 329 I75 in Florida, $145.
They work wickedly well.

Peter

Post those pics! Especially the wiring mods...
I thought I heard what sounded like a train from the east the other day! All the way out here to boot!
Hmmm. I wonder just how many horns can be made to fit on top?

Okay guys, I uploaded the pic (2 of them) to the galley, they are pending approval or something. I'm not real sure what to do after that, but give it a couple days and I will get some help if need be.

We got out of Dodge just in time. Some bad weather at the bottom of Ohio, in Kentucky and fog in Tennessee on Friday.

There ya go Peter..... pretty work!!
Due to some folks who were consistently spamming our photo page we've started requiring an approval process, but there are at least five of us folks that visit the photo approval page and as such we hope the wait is minimal.
I caught this pic just now and added it to your post..... NICE!!

Thanks Bob. They are bolted onto the main frame channel end flange. Facing down and slightly tilted bottom out, they reflect the SOUND out the front.

Hey Peter,

Remember on our last trip to Key West and when we were returning with the three amigos we all tried out the current air horns so as to determine whether they could be heard in the coach up front or to the rear? They were a miserable failure other than to oncoming traffic.

Your bad boy air horns will surely pass the decible test now. Another road trip/test may be in order.

Chuck, I was thinking the same thing this afternoon. I'm getting a chance this weekend to take them on a road trip with three other coaches from here in RB. We are tripping over to ODR St. Lucie on Saturday for 3 nights. I will let'em rip as we start letting down outside St. Lucie. You should hear them in CW. Fort Myers.
Yeh, we need another trip soon too. I want to see your site changes, hopefully see you in a week or two.

Peter

Hey Paul, Someone had to be the beta tester, that would be the good doctor. I will report what kind of fun, trouble or whatever they cause. Once approved, they will be available to the Amegos. They are BIG, they are BAD, they are LOUD!!

Hi Peter! That kinda of fits my personality!! John could have used those baby's when he smoked that guy he passed, on the way to Key West. What a combo! John passing on a two way highway, and Train Horns!! Paul
