In any case I went into the coach inclined to dislike the huge overhead cab window. Now I hate it, sure it will be great under a star lined sky in Montana but dang if I know why I’d have it open any other time. Shudder to think if it was broken and needed replacement. The rest of the features left me unimpressed I’m afraid, flat floor into the cab, the accordion connection (with long term wear concerns), etc. Will probably focus on Renegade for a while or fall back to Dutch Star. Any others have impressions after viewing the Tampa display?
At the show I looked at the shorter Super Star and it hit me as way too short inside - like an efficency appt. The Supreme was better but overall I didn't like the line at all. Different stroke for different folks I guess.

It would seem to me that it would ride rather rough with leaf spring front end. Even with air seats and cab, just doesn't appeal to me at all. Buy a 45' coach and get the interior room of a 37.

I had the same chassis in my last M2 minus the air ride cab. They ride quite well with just the air ride seats. I am surprised Newmar wasted the effort and $ with the air ride cab. My only thought was maybe they had to go to such a heavy front spring with the FWS and tile that it rode bad.

I loved my M2 about 10 years ago but I would not want to buy the exact same truck in 2020. The transition from 1990's style work truck up front (including work class seats) to Dutch Star/Mt.Aire box is poorly done. The M2 is a very capable chassis but the interior and exterior are really dated, no, really really dated.

I hope it works out for them as Renegade needs some competition. In fact I think they already improved the interior quality of the 2020 XL series.

I was pretty underwhelmed by them as well at Tampa. I just don't see that being a real moneymaker for Newmar. They should stick to regular class A's, and do what they do best.

Jayco also tried the premium Super C from about 2010-13 called the Embark. I guess there were not enough people willing to spend that much.

I looked at them at Tampa show. Every single one, the shade for the big cab window was broken. They filled up all the curb side bays with systems. Overpriced. Supreme Aire is supremely overpriced for an M2 based Super C. They have some nice features - passthrough storage, rear trunk, and the fit/finish inside was nice. But Renegade Verona and Dynamax DX3 would be my choices in this space. I also couldn't find any Newmar folks around to talk about them. It was like they were intentionally staying away from them.

One of North Trails says Pending Sale and I saw one at Disney's campground 3 weeks ago. So there are a few that have sold.
