Hello, I have bought a 1997 Newmar American Star, 33ft 5th wheel with two slide outs and I am new to owning a camper and I have a couple of questions. First of all, the camper is at my hunting club and will probably never be moved. My first question is, I have a switch that is under the cabinet beside the microwave and it is a switch with a little red light beside it. Can somebody tell me what this is for. Next question, can anybody tell me where I can get a wiring diagram for this camper as I have looked all over the internet and cannot come up with anything.

The switch with the red light is probably for the gas water heater.

Switch with red light is probably for the electric water heater. Make sure when it is turned on the heater is full of water as the element quickly burns out if empty.
