Switch Help

Sorry for the fully question but this is driving me crazy. This bank of switches and the light are on our '08 essex coach.
The owners manual indicates that this back includes the city/airhorn switch but on my coach it is in a different position.

The OH fan switch works fine and is controlled by the hi/med/lo switch next to it. The switch labeled Front Fan (hi/off/lo) has me baffled as does the indicator light.
Any help would be appreciated.

Safe travels-Steve

The high/low switch is for the front zone fan on the Oasis heating system. Not sure about the light.

Light should be jacks down , along with a warning buzzer.
If you never start your coach until all the jacks are stowed, you'll never see it lit.

I don't think the light is for the jacks down indicator, on the Essex there is a indicator on the Spartan "information panel" under the guage cluster that lets you know if the jacks are down,

Thanks iron man, yes the panel does indicate Jacks down. I haven't seen the indicator on so I remain stumped

The light kind of looks like the indicator that comes with a Ready Brake to let you know the toad breaks are being applied.

On the HWH operation panel a red light would shine if one jack did not retract and alarm would sound when you turned on ignition.
The red led on dash maybe for the small solar panel on roof to indicate its charging your chassis batteries. It normally has a different indicator as seen at end of this PDF.

Thanks 007. The solar charge indicator (on my coach) is down by the 12v outlets. This light remains a mystery :-)

If , you have the jacks down and turn the ignition on , no need to start, and the light doesn't come on , I'd pull the bulb, to see if it is burnt out.
If the bulb is good and you still can't figure it out, or never see it on; you have a true mystery.
As, HD4 Mark, says could be an owner added indicator, for something, and that makes it even harder to figure out.

Thanks Skip I will give that a look. When Jack's are down I do get an indication on the Jack panel and also on the engine information screen.

I will keep searching!

Thanks again for your help

Spinn, I just pulled out my leveler wiring diagrams, if with jacks down and ignition on , there is no light or buzzer, you may have an issue with a blown inline fuse.
My diagrams show the remote " Master " warning light and buzzer sharing a common inline fuse from the ignition ; on ; feed.
I'll scan this page to a PDF and post it .
I guess that , you have to consider that , if the light was a part of the leveler system that someone may have disconnected it ,when , the engine information screen was hooked up.
