About 5 1/2 quarts. BTW, the later years, at least my 2008, takes 5W-20.

I'm a believer in synthetic oil. I had a Triton V10 in a Mountain Aire back in '99. I ran syn oil, Mobile 5W 40, I believe it was. Since then 100% synthetic Valvoline in three diesel pushers. Of course, now a little more than 5 1/2 qts. per change.
I do not extend the recommended mileage, just conform to the manufacturer's recommendations.

For sure synthetic. Use 5w20 your choice of brands. Definitely worth the few extra bucks when your climbing the Rockies in the summer.
