We have fingers crossed that June 19 MIGHT be our pick up week. I hope so - would love to see you and your coach in person as we just missed you at Tampa.

I'm pretty sure I have a video of Bill & Leanne's beach house 4369 taking corners on three wheels and at a 30 degree lean. You should see the smoke coming off the tags! I'll try to get a video of yours :-) - maybe one of the techs doing the west coast gangsta bounce with the front end :-) LOL

You crack me up!! I am sorry we will miss you, but feel confident we will see you down the road somewhere.
Seriously though, if you do happen to lay eyes on our coach when you are there I would LOVE to see a pic!!
Lynn

Our (very) prelim date is 4/19 but we will find out 3/21. I don't know if you have mentioned it, but are you going to Nappanee for your build? With our builds and deliveries so close together maybe some our dates will overlap

Lynn - Can you share your final configuration and specials?
Hi Lynn - Looks like you did it! Eager to hear what you actually ended up doing after all the input you received.
Best,
Ian

LOL, Ian. I thought about you yesterday when I was posting to IRV2 and said to myself, "Self, you have to get your options and specials listed" and then I got distracted (SQUIRREL!) and did not do it.
I am trying to get it copied here but it isn't working great from my iPad. I will figure it out and get it done.
Lynn

Well, that took a LOT longer than it should have. I could not figure out how to post the file and keep the redacted version but somehow I accidentally stumble on a "flatten" command and that worked. A motor home will be easier to use than an IPad, right?

Lynn - thanks for posting. That's the first time I've seen an "official" Newmar specials doc.
Can you comment at all on the reasons why the denied the ones they did?
Thanks again,
Ian

Good question, and the answer is we mostly don't know. I was told that the fascia denial was due to those pieces coming to the factory already complete. The rest we are not sure of. Maybe they were dumb requests. We do have to admit that we added some stuff just because we read others had requested it. Seriously, we mostly have no idea what we are doing.

Looking at the list, and based on previous comments from others with regards to what was rejected - looks like it's usually one of two things -
1) not possible/ not advisable (due to design, manufacturing, components, regulations, weight or structural limits, Newmar expertise, etc)
Or
2) not permitted by Newmar policy in order to maintain differentiation between models / levels. For example, you probably cannot get Newmar to use the King Aire window treatments in a Bay Star. But you might be able to get them in the Essex.
