2007 ESSEX Certain brake, turning, running, and back up lights in all four tail lights will not work. Power is available to and through all connector plugs. Checked light bulbs and found corrosion on some of them. I removed and replaced them, no help. Attached to the lens is a tray that bulbs can be inserted in for replacement. I opened the sealed bulb connector tray (part # 17-335-1904-F1) and found rust on most circuitry. Tried to clean off the rust without much success and no positive results. Called Newmar with part number. They said that part number does not exist and there is no replacement. I cannot be the only one that has experienced this problem and I am looking for some help.
Please respond.

The tailights are off a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Vist a junkyard or check the internet.

I would check all your grounds to metal or frame. Try cleaning the corrosion out of the bulb holders. I have had problems with tailights etc on different trailers, motorhomes. What a pain in the rear. You might try getting a electrical cleaner spray from a parts store or ?? I have found it helps out alot. I use GUNK electric motor contact cleaner, I bought at a Rural King farm store in my area. Good luck!

Welcome bmaxey to the Newmar forum & irv2.
If you can clean up the contacts for bulbs in their holders sleeve surface and center contact of holder you can convert them to LED Lamps.
Give Iron Man's suggestion for replacement may save you some money if you cannot get them clean.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Three years ago, I got fed up with problems with bulbs in my tailights and running lights. I hardwired in LED bulbs. I dont advise using twist in bulbs, because you still have corrision at the base. Use wired bulbs. Its been three years and I have never had a light not come on.
