Tank rinse valve

I know the black water rinse and how it works, but there is a little black valve that says tank rinse and it doesn’t matter who I talk to I get a different answer on what it’s for. How can I get the correct answer on what exactly it is for. People at Newmar and on the forum have two different explanations.

Turn the valve and you'll drain your water holding tank.

Are you are talking about the one in the wet bay that is a garden hose fitting?

If so it is where you rinse the black tank. Hook up a garden hose and it will fill and rinse the black tank. I close the valve and add water (careful not to over fill) and then dump. Repeat until it's clear.

No the black water has no valve you just hook up a hose

Tank rinse valve

Ok the 3 valves are low point drains to empty the lines for winter storage. It states it below but looks like a separate sign

Tank Rinse..fresh water tank drain
Very POOR nomenclature ......does NOT compute as a 'drain'

Black Tank Flush....
That is the hose connection above those valves.
Hook up a water supply (garden hose---not your drinking water hose)
Open Black Tank Dump Valve and turn water supply on
Water then flows into flush line up to 'anti-siphon vacuum breaker backflow preventer' (whew that's a mouth full) then down to black tank Spray Nozzle.
(That vacuum breaker valve is typically inside a bathroom cabinet....can leak if water pressure is LOW and if way to high...best to use regulator on water source set to 50#)

Vacuum Breaker...cheap Black, better Clear and best Brass

To me, it looks pretty standard, like other coaches. They're three small drains for winterizing. My 2014 has the same info.
