Telescoping Pole for RV Washing
Anyone familiar with the "Mr. Longarm" telescoping poles? I'm looking at
the #3212 (6ft.-12ft.), thinking that should give me the length to reach the
top of my '15 DSDP 4369. The best price appears around $25.00. Any
thoughts about this one, or someone have a better one than this? Would
appreciate hearing...thanks. Larry

I have the Swobbit pole and accessories, they have been working great for me. See http://64.207.98.90/telescoping-poles/

What are you putting on the end of the pole? You need a lambswool pad to avoid scratching the paint so I would suggest you look at this.

My thoughts without doing any leg work is $25 seems like a great price. I have had my 6'-12' telescopic pole for maybe 10 years and I thought I paid more back then. If I remember mine came from Sherwin Williams and I have been happy with it.

Thanks, JOHN...I'll definitely look at this one. BILL...you're so right...the
price is quite a bit more than $25.00!

Has anyone used one of these, and is a "screw on" pad that fits a standard pole?

Everything above has exceeded my expectations.

Lowes/Home Depot sell paint roller extension poles that work beautifully. They have the screw-on end that accepts most washing pads, etc.

I picked up a Shur-Line 6572L Easy Reach Adjustable Extension Pole, 4-Feet to 9-Feet after seeing them in use at 2016 iRV2 rally. It is easy to change length. I have pole like others have shown above. Everyone of them become hard to tighten and loosen the lock collar after couple years of use. So far the Easy Reach works very well.

X2 Shur-line 6572L. When you push the button it extends from both ends. Think of a double ended light sabre out of Star Wars. Very sturdy!

Yes, I have the 6ft. to 11ft. pole. I use the Swobbit lambs wool pad and have the squeegee attachment as well.
As an aside, I used for the first time my On the Go water deionizer as a final rinse and let the coach air dry. I was amazed how well it worked.

Here is another option. I'm not a big fan of how the head rotates (too much), but a reasonably good solution with high quality micro fiber pads.
https://www.griotsgarage.com/product...fType=&from=fn
I would also suggest getting a couple more set of the pads.....
There are plenty of high quality companies that speciailze in car care / auto detailing product, and as for why Newmar and Tiffin have an alliance with Mary Moppins is beyond me....
No, nothing wrong with using Lambs wool mitts, but so much of what I have read from them is questionable (at best) when it comes to car / RV care, Mary should stick to mopping the kitchen floor........

X3 on the shur line extension pole!!!!!!!!!! I have both fiberglass and aluminum extensions that cost more and are not as good. With the friction locks when the soapy water gets into the locks, it DOESN'T lock.
Just my $.02.
