Thanks for the good wishes, Bob, and hope all of us have remembered those in the Armed Services who are sacrificing for us, and those who preceeded them for our freedoms.

The only thing close to rving today for me was that we had a picnic at the storage warehouse where we keep our motorhomes. It was nearly like camping as there was a grill and all of the good stuff that results therefrom. Most of the attendees were RVers in any event.
The next road trip is when two of the amigos head out to the International rally in three weeks. Can't wait.

Hi Bob! Happy Belated Memorial Day to you! We will always remember our troops! Jill and I were hard at work this weekend. The Gas prices certainly did not stop people from invading the Jersey Shore! Sadly we do not own anything at this time that has Jack Pads on it. So we are looking foward to hearing about the wild antics that Amigos 1 & 2 come up with when they hook up with each other!! Paul

Paul, I too can not wait to hear "reports" from Chuck and John on their experiences at the NKK '08 in Illinois.
As announced, the '09 will be back south in Perry,GA so maybe some of the Floridian NKK folks can get there....
I truly enjoyed myself in Gillette and am very fortunate that Adrienne, Bryan and I have those memories to share.
I truly believe that, while Adrienne certainly enjoyed the sites out west, she certainly relates more of the stories of spending time
with her new NKK friends as well.... A great bunch of folks indeed.
As far as the "gator sandwiches" are concerned, I don't think the FL Game folks would think too highly of that idea, nor would "the restaurant owner" be too enthused!!
Will gladly settle for grouper and dolphin....
I'm still hangin' around these parts and staying active in the forums, was on the phone with someone talking about my experiences with Column Drive and even spoke to someone about that pesky refrigerator in the old BBT.
Ya'll be safe and good luck with the business this summer.

It is legal to serve gator meat, in a restaurant. In Florida, the farther south one gets the more popular it is.

Hey Dirk, maybe I can find me a "Kobe" gator....
Thanks for the heads up Gary, I'm sure my restaurant owning "friend" knows that and probably hopes I won't bring it up...

Dave, right here in Juno Beach the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hard at work "rescuing" and rehabilitating sea turtles, so I'll "opt out" of any discussion which mentions using them for food...
BTW..... my lil restaurant "find" makes a pretty mean conch chowder.

Freshwater turtles are served at many restaurants thruout Florida(the dark meat is quite strong but the white meat is tasty). The only sea turtles that are legal are in the Islands(but not all of the Islands). Just had fresh Conch salad from the Bahamas made(caught, jerked and skined) by my son last week. Have not tried Manatee(as it is illegal since 1973), but have heard it tastes like pork .
