Coach Glass in Eugene OR did our windows and we were very pleased with them. They also have a shop in Phoenix, AZ that might work for you. Visit www.coachglass.com and click on "Contact Us" for info on contacting their Phoenix store.

Lazydays used to bring the windows to Suncoast for repair. Then they thought they could do a better job and stopped. Go visit Suncoast and tour their operation.

Well they back doing them again. was talking to the window shop manager yesterday. He was claiming his process was better then suncoast. So I asked him why did he have only a one warranty. He did not know what to say. then he claims that the window seal that he uses only gives a one year warranty. so I told him good bye and walked off.

I had a fogged window problem on my house and had a company come in that drilled a hole through the first window from the outside and installed a little breather. It cleared the windows up and worked great for over a year. When they started having problems after that I replaced the glass.
I don't see why that process couldn't be used on an RV? Although it didn't solve the problem permanently it was very cheap and easy to have done.

I have read this post and a few others on the very prevalant window fogging problem. This issue really sounds like it is wide spread and reminds me a bit of the problem with the owens corning defect of "checking" in the exterior fiberglass siding / paint on most coaches prior to 2008. At this time, I am specifically looking at purchasing either a new Newmar Essex or King Aire DP or possibly a unit as old as 2008. So my questions are related to this year range (2008 to 2012) and the Newmar brand:
1) Has the original design problem that causes the seals to fail been identified and clearly understood?
2) If the problem with the seals has been indenitifed then has a new design been developed that essentially solves this probelm permanantly. I define the word permanantly as a time period of about 10 years which is the warranty period on many residential multi pane glazing uints)?
3) If there is a new design out then what year was it introduced and what window manufacture makes this redesigned product?
4) If there is a new seal design and different wondow manufactures being used then I assume that Newmar is using this redesigned product?
5) Was the seal problem predominantly with frameless type glazing assemblies, fixed glass units or operable glass units. Or do the seals fail on all types of glazed units regardless of style and use?
Thanks to all who reply.

BL - I don't think the fogging issue is as prevalent as the postings here would indicate. We've had no sign of any fogging in our '08 KGDB (knock on wood).

I have a 1998 Pace Arrow. It is stored outside and has one small window that is fogged. I don't think that is bad for 14 years. Sometimes I think we all think there are more problems than there are because no one posts the good things, they just post the bad.

I can speak for coaches of 2007-2009. All my windows on my 2007 are fogged. I have 2 friends with a 2008 Mountain Aire who have all of their windows replaced and several on the second set and a friend who just had all his on 2009 Essex repaired by Suncoast. I do not know how prevalent it is but when we traveled as NKK Florida State Directors and attended rallies I talked to the owners and 80% of those I talked to who have an Essex have had their windows replaced or repaired or are fogged. Somtimes unless the sun shines directly on the windows you do not notcice it is fogged. I had my big drivers window replaced under warranty 2 and then repaired by suncoast 6 months after Newmar replaced it the last time.
Call some of the repair companies discussed in this thread and see what type of coaches come in for service. I think Suncoast tracks the coach type and the window type that they repair. Call Newmar and ask them about warranty issues on the windows. Those windows are used by other RV manufacturers, search the forums and see what issues they are having with the windows.

I read an article that said that driving your coach is equivalent to something like a 6.0 earthquake affecting your brick and mortar house. I think window seals fail because of the extremes of movement rv's are subjected to.
