As Larry said think you have a clogged filter screen or hose with calcium deposits.

You may be right. Time to take it apart.

Usually on those sprayers you can remove the sprayer from the hose by unscrewing the collar where the hose meets the sprayer. I'd try removing it, try the foot pedal (holding the hose end in the bow!!) and see if water flows. That sprayer is attached at the foot valve by a hose clamp. You could buy a new one at Home Depot and change it out if yours is bad. Remove clamp then gently twist the hose to loosen, then twist and pull at the same time. Not hard to do.

You can change out the spray head assembly with one from Home Depot for a kitchen sprayer, which is what it is. I've done it on mine. Just disconnect the spray head at the large nut on the hose end of the spray head.

(Oops - Bob and I were typing at the same time.)

Thank you all. I am going to take the thing apart and change out the spray head if water actually flows out of the hose after I remove the old spray head. I was really worried about busting the valve assembly with the gaggle of pipes connected to the foot pedal...

We have one, use it when we clean the toilet or help push paper down past the valve. The water is too cold to use as a bidet.

Mine comes right off the toilet valve at the foot switch, you'd have to find a compatible replacement valve with the sprayer option. Or you could tap off the water supply to the toilet and install a 'T' and a shut off valve.
