Well, with over 13,000 views and 400+ posts, the "Amigos, Coming to a Campground Near You" is getting pretty full and may be should be retired. Also, with so many posts, it may tend to be intimidating and prevent new members and others from joining in.
The Amigoes, among other things, are representative of the entire Newmar high line coach line up.
Lane: 45' MADP
CWG: 45' EXDP
Jetsmania 45' KGDB
This in its self, makes them a great resource in ongoing product review. It also offers all a chance to slam them and have some fun. On the social aspect, it has lead to many meetings of fellow Newmar owners and great ongoing friendships. These friendships and social activaties are not bound by high line coaches, but just people enjoying the RV lifestyle.
Hopefully, many more friendships will be made this season.

The amigo bantering has been/is always entertaining and sometimes informative. I will miss rebelbeach's input/putdowns as he withdraws from the competition LOL.

Ronnie, Also Bob, as a part time acting road manager of the Amigos, had still a different high line, the LADB. Certainly quite a mixed bag.
Two Amigos', standing on the side of a very busy highway. One on the west side of the highway and the other on the east. Trying to figure out how they can get together as the traffic is non-stop with no break to cross.
Amigos 1 yells: "How do I get to the other side?"
Amigos 2, looks accross and scratches his head. After a short pause he yells "You don't have to, you are already there"
Still another moment in the scrapbook of the Amigos.

Hi! Just let me know which topic we will continue with. Maybe a vote?
All Kiddin aside; I feel that the Amigos topic is wide open to anybody about anything. I feel that we are a continuing soap opera, hopefully with no end in site. I love everyone chiming in and being involved. Also plenty of ribbing should be included! No low Blows please! I will leave it up to our handler to decide our fate. It is all in your hands Doc! Paul

Well, if you guys want to stay with our original "Amigos Coming To A Campground Near You" that's cool with me. It was my idea to roll it over due to the size, as I thought it may not attract the newer members. But, maybe I was wrong.
If you all agree, let's just continue to ride the "Original recipe"
Paul, I didn't include my wheels as there are only three Amigos.

I "LIKE" the on order Rig
The 'B' Model Mack, from the drivers seat you can roll down the window on the passenger side.
No need for power remote!!!!!
Maybe you should get the double tranny set up with 2 shifters!!
You will have more Gears to pull the Tanker Trailer!!!!
Rick

Peter,
Include yourself in the official Amigos roster. Remember the three musketeers? Remember, there were really four.

Hey, cool, Gary. You're right.
Rick, The Mac tanker is a great rig. It sleeps one in two rooms. Only problem is, it's a 5,000 gallon tanker, but CSA Canadian standards require it be converted into a 18,500 liter tanker. Also it must be re-weighed and stated in tonnes. Tonnes? I really don't think that applies to me as I'm tonne deaf anyway.
On second thought, why bother. I'll just leave it with the Hawii plates and drive it back there once a year.

So I look at the thread title "The New and Improved Newmar Amigos".
I can see "new" Amigos, but really, can the original Amigos be "improved"???? That is, is there really anything from which to improve OR are they already so well developed that there is no more room to improve? Seems to be a rhetorical question here....
Hmmm... Which could it possibly be?????
