I really had to think about this one! Having purchased a number of RV’s over the years I have experienced every emotion hereto fore mentioned. The only one that I really didn’t have to face until recently was the size of the coach. As my family grew so did my rigs, funny thing though the largest rig I have ever owned is the one we have now. And my family is down to my wife, 4 terriers and I.
Unfortunately we downsized our homes as the kids (4) left. So now we have a amazing 150 year old small farmhouse that has been surrounded by newer homes and unfortunately no longer has a barn, (a developer bought the land and demolished the barn and left this poor forlorn run down stone house). My wife and I saw some potential and invested 5 years into a upgrade and renovation of the structure.
So fast forward to not so long ago and why did I buy a home that sat in the middle of McMansion territory. I can’t believe the aggravation I had to go through to finally put up a modern variation of a barn that would conceal a 45’ motorhome. You can’t have them parked outside so you have to conceal it, what is more natural than a farmhouse with a barn?
Sorry for the rant, you asked the question so I answered. LOL

I guess I think a little different than most folks. My first question when I drove off in our current coach (our fourth motorhome) was..."Why didn't I buy something like this one FIRST?".

I was going to say, "What could possibly go wrong?"
But, after reading some of the responses I have to go with "Did you read what the OP wrote?"

The number one question every RV owner asks
Wife to me after buying another RV gizmo: “What is it, what does it do, and why do we need it”
Really three questions, but they come in quick succession.
