Tire pressures
I have a new 2015 London Aire.
I have Michelin XZA all around, the front are 365/70 R 22.5,the drive and tag are315/80R 22.5.
The front axle weight is 16,500,
The drive axle weight is 17,500,
The tag axle weight is 11,500,
I'm running 95 psi on the front
All the rest are 85 psi. I have been running a lot more in the front and tag. I checked the Michelin chart and these are the numbers that I think are satisfactory .
What are you running in your tires. Any recommendations .

Looking at the Michelin charts for the XZA 365/70 22.5's LRL shows 95 for 8,250.
For the drive axle XZA 315/80's at 8,750 as 75 or 80 depending on the wheel width.
For the tag axle ZXA 315/80's at 5,750 as 80 or 85 depending on the wheel width.

Tire Pressure
I run 110psi in all tires (Cooper RoadMasters) That helps me get my 7.0 mpg.

With very rare exception - I run the pressure that the manufacturer of the tire stamps on the sidewall as the cold inflation pressure.

Which, for truck type tires, is the minimum pressure to support the maximum weight the tire can support. It is always better to have too much pressure than not enough but overpressure leads to less traction and might lead to more impact damage.

Smosher,
Your front tire pressure would be correct if your weight is exactly balanced side to side. We know that's not going to be the case. Individual wheel weights are needed, then carry pressure needed to support the heaviest side in both front tires. I presently run 118, 100, 100 in our Essex. I'm taking delivery of a '15 LADP Monday and until I can get individual wheel weights plan to run the same 118, 100, 100.

I haven't been able to get tire weights so I run the axel weight calcs. I then add +5 lbs to the front. My rear drive and tag are off the bottom of the Michelin chart so I run the min pressures plus 5 lbs.
That should more than compensates for potential lateral load issues and minor temperature differentials.
Keep us posted on your LADP. I'm very envious . Unfortunately I will have to wait for a few years before I buy one of those beauties due to a pending move back to Texas in the near term.

I would add 5 psi to every tire. To compensate for the sides not always being equal weight.

PDR JOHN,
Agreed, Adding 5#'s is a good idea and being 'ol conservative me, add another 5#'s in each tire as they all leak over time.

Does anyone have the weights for the DS 4369? I will not be able to get my corner weights for a while.

What others do or think has no bearing on your coach. Inflate according to Michelin inflation charts for your weight and tire size. Period.

Your pressure's look fine to me others that are using side wall pressures on tires maybe OK on empty coach but once you get it loaded get the coach weight.
When your traveling the tire pressures are going to rise 15 to 20 lbs as tires heat up.
You do not need a blow-out.

So what some of y'all are saying is the engineers at Goodyear and Michelin are a bunch of yahoo's and they make up these charts, so we should just ignore them.
