Tom Lindstrom RV

Just thought I'd give props where they're due. We just picked up our Bay Star 3113 from Tom Lindstrom RV. We could go on all day about the process but suffice it to say we're very happy with the service we got from Tom.

I don't want to get into the specifics of our deal since our situation isn't necessarily anyone else's but Tom treated us more than fairly. We got a good price and a great deal. Tom was always honest and never pressured us. We dealt, as everyone does, directly with him and he always got back to us quickly.

Our coach was near perfect during the PDI. We we're shown everything on the coach and then given an opportunity to operate the coach. Then, they left us alone as we put the coach's systems through their paces. We found a couple of nuisance items and they we fixed as we sat in our coach. We were told the PDI is tailored to the customer and can go as quick as an hour or all day if need be. We took 4 1/2 hours and never, ever felt rushed. Tom even bought us lunch!

His guys, especially Scottie and Mike, we're super friendly and helpful. Now we know why several Newmar coaches drove by as we did our PDI and honked. Everyone at Tom's were sure to let us know that our relationship with them had just begun. Not only do we have our Newmar rep's sticker in the window, we've got everyone's business card and personal number at Tom Lindstrom too.

I'm glad we took everyone's advice and visited Tom Lindstrom. We can't recommend them enough!

We agree with your assesment so far, although we have several months yet to wait for our new Newmar coach. Tom has been great so far, especially dealing with the specials for our order. You don't deal with a salesman, you deal directly with Tom. I'm encouraged based on your delivery, that the process will be as easy and enjoyable as you have experienced.

Ditto. I feel we got a very fair price on the trade-in unit as well. Thanks Tom.

I live down the street from the dealership and bought my Dutch Star there. I often stop into say high and on a couple of occasions found Tom sitting in a new coach with customers. Both occasions, he waived me in and introduced me to the customers. He then left and told them to ask me anything they wanted. Not too many dealers are that trustworthy and willing to let new customers talk to a previous customer.

Any dealer with this kind of reputation on the east coast? Tom may be great but I don't think iI want to drive from NC to deal with him.

Do a search for North Trail and Independence in Florida. I remember seeing positive posts for both of them.

Bought mine from Scott Hamilton at Independence RV in Winter Garden, FL. Treated well all the way around and very happy with the service after the sale. Give them a call.

I've read many posts regarding Independence RV...all positive. Seems like an excellent dealer!

Heard nothing but good things regarding Independence and I'm a two time customer of North Trail RV in Fort Myers.... Owned by the Erp family, Alan Erp's son is Kyle Erp and he's very knowledgeable and I've heard good things about the salesman there named Matt as well.

Huge selection of new and used Newmars...
