And that's the exact problem I had... I could not "square up" or even get the nozzle over the 6 cells in the back.
I think my point was that there are simpler devices to fill the batteries. Using a squeeze bottle is a great idea. I just like the simplicity of the baster that didn't drip.
Also... I don't know anything about "Pro Fill." Probably a great idea, but I doubt it is as cheap to purchase, or install, as squeeze bottle or baster.

If you have to use a mirror to see into your cells the the Pro Fill is for you. If you have to pull out your batteries to fill them and it is difficult to do this the Pro Fill is for you. With all the BS stuff out there for us to bite on the Pro Fill works and in the long run is worth it, because you don't need to check your batteries visually you just hook up the the water jug attach the hose and start squeezing. If it takes water then it needed some, if it didn't take any water then it didn't need any. It is really that simple and its a easy job so your batteries won't be neglected and that's what makes it worth the money. It works right out of the box.

I'm going to take a look at the Pro Fill system... Looks like it would cost about $110 for two kits and the squeeze bulb.

Mine was on my rig when I bought it, I had wish I had it on my last boat after using it. I used it today actually, you don't open the caps to check the water levels you just hook up the squeeze bulb and see if it takes any water. Try YouTube.

Not a problem just trying to show the OP that the Pro-Fill is quicker and cleaner way to maintain the battery water then using what he posted.

The other advantage is that the Pro-fill achieves the CORRECT level in each cell, every time. Never over filled creating spills and never under filled. That's hard to do with a spout and a mirror. Since using it, I never have the toxic mess on the batteries.

Okay......this makes me laugh.....one of the things that goes bad in these coaches all the time are the batteries. Mainly because they are difficult to fill, consequently people aren't as diligent about it. So you buy a $50,000.00 - $350,000.00 motor home and you're going to go cheap on battery care by buying a turkey baster versus a system that ensures even filling, simplicity of use and most importantly keeps the batteries and battery bay clean.

I never knew
I bought my 2016 Baystar Sport last year and already had to have the batteries replaced because NO ONE told me about the water. They were quick to try to sell me everything else, why didn't they offer a Pro-fill as an accessory I couldn't live without?

I agree that the Pro Fill System is better... I guess the idea of the thread was that the Mighty Max didn't work for me, so I tried something else... It cost me $10, not $120 that the Pro Fill cost. Maybe after I have years of experience in a DP and over 7K treads, I'll be as smart as you....

Agreed, the "Mighty Max" or others like it should shut off automatically at the correct level when nothing gets in the way.
I've used a turkey baster and last year went high hog and got a Harbor Freight battery fill unit. Like a turkey baster but heavier duty and doesn't leak as much.
