Looking to down-size to a Ventana LE 3436. Noticed some pictures of this year/model show a slide topper on the passenger-front slide...some pictures show no topper. The brochure for that year lists "slide-out awning toppers" as a standard item...? Please help...

I can only speak for the 2014 Ventana LE 3436 (which we have). There is no slide topper on the front, passenger-side slideout. Instead, we extend the main awning a couple of feet to serve as a slide topper.

The other two slides on our 2014 VLE have toppers factory installed.

It does not appear that there is a topper installed on the front, passenger-side slide.

I concur, no topper on front pass side slide in the brochure picture, looks like it would interfere with the awning.

We have 2017 Ventana LE 3709. We went back to factory last summer and had the topper. Awning works fine and the topper does keep the slide clean.

I have the 2017 4002 le and it didn't have the slide topper either. We went back to the factory and had one installed. It works great and doesn't interfere with the awning. The awning doesn't take the place of the slide topper because if it gets windy you either retract the awning or it retracts by itself and you still get debris on on the front slide out. I was told at the factory it was just away of them saving money on the LE model. If you have the money have one installed.
