Torque bushing on slide out shaft

I am in the process of changing the slide out gear box on my 97 dutchstar. I finally got the toque bushing nut loose and it broke the bushing. Any idea how to get the pieces out of the collar being i broke the ears off the bushings that are inside the nut? Any help very much appreciated.

Most likely you will be needing a new one, from QT's 1 & 2, release of bushing, order new one.

Yes, I have to order a new one for sure. But any tips on how to get the old one out? I bring me the little lips off that go inside the nut and the 3 pieces are still in the collar.

Just curious what gear box do you have ??? You might try tapping on the collar to see if you can jar them loose or use a small chisel and hammer being careful not to score the inside of the collar housing

Thanks everybody I got it. Ended up tapping on the back of the gear box towards the bushings and it finally got enough slack in the bushing to where I could get them out. Got the new one on and working great.
