Okay I did my search, cannot find the specific answer to the following.
On my 2000 Kountry Star DP, which has three tail lights, one of which is red one is yellow, one is a backup, do I need to use a converter to wire a pair of trailer lights? I know it is not rocket science, but I cannot seem to figure it out. Thanks to all that offer helpful comments.

Go to your local auto parts or trailer supply and ask fro a tail light converter fro trailer lights. They should be able to help you.
U-Haul: Moving supplies: Tail Light Converter for Towed Vehicle
Of course you could do it the hard way and design your own.

No converter should be needed, on the newer rigs, the 7 pin plug gives you the combined signals like Left turn/Brake and Right turn/Brake and so on .

Thanks to all that replied, using a 7 to four adapter it seems to be working correctly without a converter. Lucked out I guess.

I need help!
What do I need to do to wire the stop, tail and turn signal lights on my jeep up to the 7 pin connector on my Dutch Star motorhome?

Jhutch4044 welcome to Newmar forum & irv2.
Give this link a try wiring for plugs should be the same on your coach and if you have the plug all the wiring on coach should be done.
You may want to check the wire connections to make sure non have come loose in the 7 pin plug for coach.
