I bet if you blow it you will find out where the fuse is.

Switch fixing method 1: (Guaranteed to work or your FREE cheerfully refunded.. PS. If it does work it's still free)

Remove power.. Or remove the center wire from the switch (Pull fuse, remove wire(s) whatever method you like)

Operate the switch 50-100 times, both up and down.

Restore power (Or re-connect) and try it.. If it works. Be happy.. If not,,, well your FREE is already refunded.

I have had it work... TWICE so far. (Differnet switches, one very important too_)

All these posts are talking about faulty switch that has battery feeding it.
Lets not forget the ground side of circuit which may have all ground wires near window location in same wire nut and this particular switch has a loose ground wire in wire nut or not in it at all.
Just food for thought, there are two sides to possible problem.

One side of the toggle switch is working. I think the there is one ground for both sides of the switch. Good sugestion.
