Tripod dish special with Dish Network Hopper/Joey?

I have ordered a Ventana 3709 with the Trav'ler rooftop dish option & the Tripod dish special. The Newmar wiring diagram for the Trav'ler rooftop dish, includes a note indicating that it is wired to accommodate a Hopper/Joey system. I was unable to get a Newmar wiring diagram for the Tripod dish special to confirm if it too is compatible with a Hopper/Joey.

Anyone using a Hopper/Joey system with the Tripod dish special?

TIA

Yes, I am using this setup. I have a 2016 DS. I'm not sure about the 17's but on the 16's there is a "splitter" like device that had to be added in-between the cable run between front TV's and the Bedroom TV. This means it had to get added to the roof. You also need the Wienguard traveler dish, which I think you said you are getting. It does not work with the very latest Hopper, I think its called the Hopper 3. It does work with the Hopper prior to that. I believe ours is called Hopper sling, and in the bedroom we have the Joey.

Thanks SMertens! Do both of your tripod cables run to the front A/V cabinet? Or does one run to the front & one to the rear A/V cabinet?

On the DS the cable run to the rear is from the roof mounted satellite straight to the rear, it does not go to the front at all. This is why the splitter had to be added in-between the two runs.

BTW, you are saying tripod cables. AS far as I know this setup only works with the Traveller roof mounted system, not a tripod mounted satellite.
