TST 507 Series 6 Flow Thru Sensor TPMS System

TST 507 Series 6 Flow Thru Sensor TPMS System

I was looking to get this for my new aire. Anyone have experience with these compared to the normal sensors?

I have the flow through sensors on my 2019 Ventana and love them. So much easier to add air more precisely than the cap sensors I had on my previous coach.

I bought 2 replacement TST flow thru sensors and they are a big improvement over the previous configuration. Just a word of caution if using them on the inner wheel valve extension. The new style “locking” nut goes on first and than you tighten the flow thru to it. Be careful when removing the sensor, it may loosen the valve extension and you may not realize that the tire is leaking air.

I have had a TST 507 on my MH for 10 years. I have flow thru sensors (8) on the MH and I have the cap sensors on the toad. They have been great for me.

We have had the flow thru sensors on our Nexus for the last 4 years. I like to replace the battery before any late winter trip, easy with an Ace Hardware pencil like screwdriver or the Harbor Freight small screw driver kit, and the TINY phillips bit.
1 word of caution--use the supplied valve caps--do NOT use metal ones--they get corroded in the threads and I could not remove it. I'll have them on our new Newmar too

My first TST system had flo thru sensors that I purchased in 2011. Worked great but slow to add air. I got to the point where I just removed them to adjust air pressure.

A couple years ago when I needed to increase my system to 12 sensors I added 6 of the smaller button non-flo thru sensors. I personally like them much better.

I too have the flow thru sensors and like FLJOE I too remove them when I have to add air because they are so slow. I have the non flow thru on my tow vehicle and like them much better.
