TV internet connection issue
Have Sony smart tvs in my ventanna and trying to hookup to Wi-Fi at camp. Most times the hook has A password and it wirks fine. When they dont have a psswd but require a terms page the tv wont hookup fully. I can hook a computer up via a webpage accept page but never have that option via the tv.
Any thoughts? Have call into sony

Do a google search on this “Private RV Wi-Fi and Making a Better Park Connection for Under $100”
This will solve your problem not free but inexpensive with other benefits.

Your own private and secure network inside your RV.
Only one place to change connections when you move.
- Also makes it easy to connect your hotspot when on the road.
- devices always connect to same location.
Boost weak WiFi signal.

Create your own wifi network that your devices connection to locally, with a router that will handle sign on pages and such. Better yet, get a cellular hotspot and don't fool with CG wifi. Imho.

So if I am understanding you, to connect to the wifi in the park you are sent to a web page that you put info in, then you connect? Your TV's wont do that and it is very likely they will not allow you to stream video on their network anyway.
You will have to install some sort of local (in RV) wireless system as others have noted...

That setup above is great for people who move a lot, or have several "smart" items in their coach.
Basically it is a router that you point your devises to, and they all use one wifi address. Call it anything you want for example "NEWMAR 1".
Then you point your tv and other devices (phones, iPads, etc) to that wifi signal.
Then when you get to a campground that has a wifi signal, you make your internal wifi unit go to that signal. Sort of like an intranet for the RV.
So the TV, phones, iPads, rosie, and other devices are hooked via wifi to NEWMAR 1 and the main signal is using whichever signal is the best. Campground, Mc Donalds, even your untethered phone.
Hard to describe, but all of your devices use NEWMAR 1 wifi signal so you don't have to change all overtime you move, then you log into the router via computer and find the best signal for the system.
Hopefully this is understandable...

You are correct that's specifically why they do that. Most will shut your IP down if you start using too much bandwidth.
