Have a 1997 Dutch Star. Would like to replace the front TV. It has oak moulding going around the front that stops the Tv from coming out. Looked for plugs to see if it was screwed in, coudn't find any. How do you remove the TV?

Thanks
Rich

Well on ours we had two plastice caps at the bottom of the compartment that the tv sits in. Under the caps were the screw heads. On either side of the tv we have two compartments and there was a screw on both the left and right side that screwed into the oak surround from inside those compartments. Once the bottom and side screws are removed the oak surround will slide out. Next there was a piece of angle aluminum at the top of the tv that was screwed into the upper cabinet at an angle. Three screws total on ours. Once removed have some help as ths thing will weigh a bit and slide it out. The extra hand will also help to disconnect any cables attached to the back side of the tv. Hope this helps.

Welcome jettyjock to the forum.
If you go to the Quick Tips link you will find some installations of LCD's for different coach's.
If you look in side cabinets each side of TV you may find screws that go through cabinet walls into panels that hold the facing surrounding the TV.
Once you have facing off there may be a metal plate with screws through it into floor of box that need to be removed so TV will slide out.
