Can you still open the cabinets on each side without pulling the TV out some? We bought a 29" Vizio because it's outside dimensions will fit inside the cabinet. Really wanted a 32" but if our measurements were correct the cabinet doors next to it would not open. It is a Winnebago but they are are fairly similar.

Have not started the project yet but all of these posts are helpful. I will take some pics of it if we ever get going on it.

The OP's original post suggested 1/2" clearance of overhead doors.

You can't beat Samsung for quality of picture. They surpass all others. I'm a Samsung guy through and through. The only issue I have with current 32" models is that they haven't gone to the slim depth casing. The parts are all new but they kept the old case. That makes it about 4" thick and would mostly sit proud of the old TV cabinet face.
For this reason, I went with a Toshiba 32" as it is a thinner casing and any of the protrudence sat within the cabinet.
Rather than the standard mount and Velcro, I also opted for a locking mount. This enabled me to unlock the TV and move it anywhere across the front of the cabin. This type of mount also let's you go with a larger TV as it unlocks to move the TV for access to the side cabinets when needed.
I also added a Sound Bar as my coach didn't have surround sound and mounted it with ready made brackets.

Here are a few photos of my install.

I have an 01 Dutchstar and replaced my tv with a Vizio led 29". Chose that one because no cabinet mods and the sound(speakers) run along the bottom edge of the TV. Most speakers are actually under the front of the cabinet. One I have seen install other than the Vizio have to have a sound bar added. That b my two cents worth. Enjoy the great picture. Oh yes. SAMs club have then for $193.00. Or $199.00

Yes i can. When tv is centered i have slighl less than 1/4 in clearance on ech side. I actually researched the outside dimensions and fortunately the 32 in Samsung fit the bill.
