I have read lots on how to remove the TV and have been looking at various mounts for a 26inch LCD.

I will be flush in front so seems I need to be able to reach in from back and fasten the swing arm so its secure for travel.

So my question is has anyone removed that rear grille screen facing the windshield. Appears the wood frame may just be glued in place.

Unless you have a rubber arm I would just place a thin bungee cord across top of LCD to hold in place while traveling. A hook both sides of LCD to hold cord.

Or you can use these rubber hold backs that Dav5942 used.
