Thanks, that seems to answer one part = a screen should be on port 3. I still don't see the application i.e. we're not locking down an axle ????

I am going to guess that it is the solenoid/valve that controls air to the entry door when the parking brake is released.

Anyone want to start a pool?

Bingo ecker...
I would posit that it is the controller for the air controlled door snugger - you know - the thing that cracks the plastic Wedge Block when the parking brake is engaged and the door is opened that costs $14.61 direct from PTL Industries
or $68.00 for the very same part from Newmar...

Correction - parking brake not engaged

Sounds good. I'll get my wife to activate the door tomorrow while I put my hand near it and see if it exhausts air there.

Here is a response I got from CAM on their part. He did not directly respond to my question on need for filter but says it should be open.
_______________________________________________

That is our 35 Series pneumatic valve. One line is the supply line (Compressed air source), the other line is the "fill" line that fills the intended target, such as a pnueumatic actuator or cylinder, with the compressed air. When the actuator or cylinder being fed compressed air needs to exhaust, it empties back through the fill line and exhausts the air through port 3 when the valve is shifted. so it looks like port 3 should be open if that is indeed the circuit being used.

I have been able to keep mine in tact by carefully checking status of parking brake but I know deep down I'm going to blow it one of these days.
