I leave my floors on all the time. When the generator starts to power the air conditioners the floor heats too. I’ve never burned up a coach yet.

The generator starts in order to cool down the coach and the floor heaters start up to warm the coach. The coach doesn't burn down. I'm not sure I understand.

With the slides in most of the floor heat is dissipated into the structure of the two slides and doesn’t provide anywhere near the amount of heat it would if there’s was open space to warm. With the floors on low, you barely notice them. But with only 20,000 miles and 2 new DSDP with heated floors I don’t really have enough “first hand experience” for the OP so not sure you should respect my opinion either Winepress.

Bill your my resident expert! But maybe if you could figure out a way to drive another 2 or 3 thousand miles a month or even better yet trade in mid model year for a different floor plan, you could be even more credible. Just a thought [emoji41]

Let me just finish. It’s safe to run floor heat with slides in, I know that. If I wanted to heat with slides in I would use the oasis. Works plugged in with hot water and hot water is free going down the road. No need for a generator.

BBelanger,
Do you use any mats? I assume with no rubber backs?

Just trying to understand why one would want the AC on with the Heated floors on at the same time.

My CC has electric heat pads under the tile. Manual warns against using any kind of heat retaining (rubber backed) runner, or even a pet bed if the floor heat is on. Even using a swivel chair with a large solid base can allow the wires to overheat so I never run the floor heat with the slides in.
If the floor has fluid circulation like Entegra than I would use the floor heat with the slides in.

I have poor circulation in my feet and I hate cold floors. I could wear slippers but I don’t. I don’t see any problem. To each his own.

BBelanger, it seems I may have annoyed you with my comment about "first hand experience" please know that was not my intent. You commented in your post that I replied to "I don’t see any issues with the floor heat." I took that to mean you didn't "think" there would be an issue, but it wasn't until a later post of yours that it became clear you have used the floor heat with the slides in and did in fact have "first hand experience" So thanks for that.
I find on the forum that people will often answer a question with an opinion that isn't based on actual experience with the issue, but rather what they "think" might or might not happen. That is the reason for my requesting "first hand experience"
