vacuum pump not shuting off on dash heat control

2004 dutchstar on freightliner chassis.vacuum pump does not shut off when selecting off or bi level positions.vent and ac positions are fine.fan shuts off ok.this is an evans heat system.I suspect position swithes.not sure.any info appreciated.thanks.

It is probably a broken stem on your pump that one of the vacuum tubes fit on. I had the same thing happen and had to replace it. Mine was a Ford part and I don't have the part number, but I just took it to NAPA and they told me to go to Ford, which I did and it was easy to replace.

thanks for the info. this pump has only 1 vacuum tube out. it must go to a manifold inside air box. not sure.wish I could find a diagram. thanks again

Finally found the problem. A mouse hed chewed one of the vacuum lines.Thanks for the help.
