The roof vent cover for the fridge seems to have oxidized to the point that it is brittle. While washing the roof, I hit it with a mop and it broke into three pieces. When you pick them up they will easily crumble.

Are these common covers? Where can I get one?

R/Charlie

Here are some vent covers that might help, Charlie.

Any decent RV supply store, if you have one near you, will carry the replacement cover. Make sure you have the fridge make/model number with you if going to the store. You can also check online here, RVUpgrades Store, Appliances - Refrigerators/Freezers and here, PPL RV Parts, RV Refrigerators and Parts. Both places offer fair prices, prompt shipping, and excellant customer service.

Be sure to ask for the correct Refrigerator Brand! They aren't all the same.

Got a "universal" CAMCO cover. The cover has mounting points for Dometic and for Norcold. Conveniently marked with a "D" and "N" for the correct attach points. It took only 10 minutes to change out the cover . Much more streamlined appearance also.
