Vent window replacement

My 2014 Dutch Star 3734 has the flat windows , double insulated, with the small vents at the bottom that open part way. One of them has already leaked the gas/air and has clouded. I bought the replacement from Newmar and customer service says that after removing the regulator that the window may be lifted past the 90 degree point and that it will pop out and supposedly the installation is just the opposite. Well there is no way in heck this thing is popping back in, the aluminum tracks that the vents hinge on do not match up, its like the large permanently fixed upper window is in the way.
Has anyone had experience with these?

We replaced 5 windows on our 2007. The hardest part may have been getting through all the sealant that was holding the window in place after the screws and inside frame were removed. I assume they still use a lot of sealant. We had to work it out slowing while very carefully cutting though the sealant. We had to first score the sealant well from the outside, then work from the inside as the window was tilted out from the bottom. Then it slipped out very easily. Need at least one extra set of hands.
