The 2017 4369 Ventana with 3 A/C option is not designed to run all 3 airs on the 8kw standard generator. You are suppose to shut one air off if you are on generator only. I'm not sure if you can upgrade to a 10kw or not.

Mine has the 3 A/C option but 8kw gen set.

Does the energy management system it comes with take care of that or do you have to manually shut one down?

I know Onan advertises the 8k as being able to run to AC's while having 3000 watts free, which seems to indicate the assume 2500 watts per unit. So, if all three were running it would pretty much max out the gennie.

We have a 2011 Ventana 4333 with 3 AC units and 8Kw Generator. We run can run all 3 AC's on the generator without any problems. Plus TV and 2 laptops. No issues.
The majority of the time we run 1 AC and this keeps the coach cold enough for us.

Our '02 DSDP 4090 had two 13.5 heat pumps and we did just fine in Yuma in mid 90's, with only one running at times. We did have the optional roof insulation package and dual pane windows though.

I added 4 window awnings after the first summer and MCD Platinum window shades throughout the next year. Now, no more overheating A/V stuff in the front cabinets at the windshield, use 2 ACs to cool from 100 to 75 in about 20 miles tues and then either the 13.5k in the bdrm or the 15k in the living room to maintain 75 degrees. Had the 19 roof insulation option too. Solar panels also shading some of the roof. Can spend the nite with bdrm A.C. when parked in the Mesquite, NV Wal-Mart lot on 110 degree day in the summer.

Thanks, John
No worries. We had Ventana 4037 with two 15K ACs and never had a problem. We stayed in Florida for 10 days, upper 90s near 100, and we kept our coach at 68. We were in the sun most of the day. We didn't pull shades just the sun visors. Two 15 K AC units will do a great job cooling your coach. Keep in mind its not the units alone but the fabulous insulation that makes these Newmar's so awesome in the extreme cold or heat.

Until they change the front cap and ed, the 10 K will never be an option on the Ventana because of the frame and front cap. I had this conversation with Newmar and to get a 10K you will need a DS. I have 3 ACs on my 43" Ventana with an 8K and only run two at at time. Works perfectly and I haven't had any issues at all. When traveling we run the front two and when parked, we run the front two until we go to bed and then 1 in front and one in the bedroom, at the coolest time of the day. Works great.

Don’t forget the 3000w left is split between the two legs. I have been looking for a 240 volt ac unit but no luck so far. I am looking at DS 40ft and want 3airs myself

I didn't think about that, but at this point (if it fits in my garage), I'm leaning towards a 4369 Ventana.

My garage is 43’ on the inside so I am stuck with a 40’. Didn’t think about inside measurements when I built my 45 X 45. Live and learn

So 45x45 is an outside dimension?

I'm reminded of a joke where the punch word is "Depends".

I live in a 38' 3-slide Class A, originally it had two 13,500 A/Cs (Carrier Air V) now it has two 15000 (Advent Air with the original carrier control and Coleman with new controls).

The color scheme is brown, sand, bronze, and that is a "Dark" color set, it was NOT my choice but I was married back then

Stuck in S.E. Ga (McIntosh Conty, near Darien) Bedroom often hit 90 during the day

Had I Choose the color scheme, it would be cooler.

My 45' X 45' garage is outside measurement and is 43'1'' from steel beam in rear to the inside of the door. I have been looking at moving the door out 2 feet as a not to expensive option but don't have a price yet. I really want to stick with a 40' so I can tow my PU or car trailer with jeep and jeep trailer and not be over length. I want 3 ac's but Newmar won't do it or a 10K gen on the DS. Started researching roof and basement ac units to do it myself on a 8K gen. The best way would be 240 volt unit to balance the load with the other 2 ac units.

Oh that’s to bad on Dimensions. The issue with putting an A/C the basement of a 40 foot is on the 40’s there is one less pass through compartment. Some of my reasons for dealing with the 43 was the 150 gallon fuel tank, and 365 front tires. like you I for sure wanted 3
A/Cs, the generator was a bonus.
