Ventana LE chassis info

Hi, folks!

The 40 foot 2017 models got a new rating for the front axle that now raises its GVWR by 1,100 lbs. What was changed to do this? What was done on the front axle to raise it to this? Thanks for the help!

Multiple parts. Air bags, larger axle, larger power steering pump, different connections from steering column to turning apparatus, etc.

The LE is an awesome coach with all of the Newmar craftsmanship, support and features. We love ours! It may very be one of the best values out there.

Yes, we love ours, too. I was afraid I would not like it as much as I liked our 2000 Dutch Star, but I do. It is a beautiful coach and very comfortable. And the Comfort Drive is incredible!

I like all your comments as we're picking up our '17 Ventanna LE 4037 within the next couple of weeks. The waiting is the worst part about ordering.

Congrats! !'m glad that you like it. The comfort drive is a must have. We have driven in wind for 12 hours with no fatigue at all. It's a game changer.

Waiting is the tougher part about ordering. The days seem like weeks and the weeks seem like months. It will be worth the wait. Feel free to PM with any questions about the coach. We have a 4037 LE and love it.

Snowhawk2, thanks. We've got the jeep loaded and the u-haul reserved. Supposed to be at the dealer on the 16th. It's a two day drive to Midway from S. Mississippi so by the time we get there they should have it ready.😊

Candygirl, sorry you don't seem to be getting as answer. I know I was surprised when I picked up my Ventana. It appears to be on a 2017 chassis and lists the higher front axle weight. Not sure if accurate or not. Will have to verify with frieghtliner some time.

Yes the fornt axle was upgraded for 2017. What does the sticker say, 13,300 or 13,500?

Mark, my 2016 Ventana LE is on a 2017 chassis also, but the axle has the same weight ratings as the 2016. I do have the V ride though.
