Looks like I have a VERY tentative delivery date of 6/4/2008 for my Ventana.

The only problem is my wife will be out of town and I might not be able to pick it up until a week later.

My salesman said that Newmar has been delivering 2-3 weeks later than the initial quote. We'll see.

We are running right on time ATM on our order. Should be in Friday. Left Napanee today. Not sure how fast the 09's are running with them finishing up the last of the 08's though.

Yeah, ours is on time as well. We were given a roll off the line date of Wednesday, April 23rd. Thursday morning my sales rep sent me a photo of it and it is on it's way. Current estimate is that it will be here tomorrow or Friday. Coach was ordered on Saturday, February 23rd.

Thanks 007. I have enjoyed learning.

Roadrunner, did you order anything as far as surge protection? I see on your option list you have an energy management system. What is that?

I'm fairly new here, too, but let me second the welcome!

EMS helps deal with situations like when you only have 30 amp service. It manages the available power so you're not throwing circuit breakers.

I'm new to all of this, so I'm not the best one to explain it. I believe I'll need surge protection as well. I'm not sure if I'll get built in or a plug in protector. Built in would be better.

Thanks for the welcome.
On my current MH I never considered surge protection. I guess I'm pretty lucky nothing happened. Don't want to take the same chances with this new one. Any pros/cons about hard wired or not?

The pro to hardwired is that it's harder to steal. I guess it's just a little simpler, too.

I feel a little awkward answering these questions considering how little I know.
