Good Morning

I'm planning on purchasing an extended warranty on my Mountain Aire
3651 gas motorhome when the factory warranty expires this fall. Right
now Warranty Experts looks like they have a very good policy and
price. They spell out what is excluded and are quite clear about it.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with this company? I'm
interested in how easily they process claims? Does their process cause
a lot of delays or are there any other problems? If there is a better
company that anyone can recommend, I'd appreciate knowing which one.

I've already weighed the pros and cons of extended warranties and have
made my decision that I am going to purchase one. It would be a waste
of space on this forum to open the pro and con discussion again now.

Thanks for all your help. This is a great forum.

Jack

Jack, why is your warranty running out this fall? 3 year warranty for 2004 should be 2007? What am I missing here?

Remember that new models come out midyear ie. 2007 models are starting to become available now.
So it is very possible that his MA is soon to be 3 yrs old.

To; Jack Foster and others, RE; Extended Warranties..

Having done some research on extended warranties , here are my findings.

Have the Good Sam CSP, $100.00 deductible, $1948.00 per year , used motorhome out f factory warranty. Seems to cover everything but haven't used ot yet.

Did get multiple quotes from Warranty Experts, Premium about $3700.00 for 3 years.

The reason I didn't take WE is that each qoute I recieved had different $$ for coverages; rentals. trip interruption, and different names.

When I would call for clarification, the changes, questions were addressed on the next quote but something else would change.

I finally ran out of time and took CSP, the most expensive. $6,000.00 vs $3,700.00.

Does anyone have WE ?? What have your experiences been with them ??

Awaiting info.

Thanks== AIME==== AJBJRVERS====

Thank you very much for responding although the quote you got seems awfully high. The quote I have for their Premium warranty, $100 deductible and for 6 years/70000 miles is $1640.00 for all six years. The Tire Guard coverage would be an additional $449. The difference might be that my 2004 Mountain Aire is gas and they are considering it to be a "new" unit. They also state (in writing) that if there aren't any claims within the six years, I would receive a full refund of the cost.
Their plan is also an "Exclusionary" plan which I'm told is the better way to go.
By the way, your comments are the first negative comments I've received from a number of posts I've gotten. I hope Good Sam works out for you. I understand they have a good plan.

To; Jack Foster.,

Read your reply. Yes, the warranty on a rig with factory coverage remaining costs less because moho company still has liability, so you will pay for coverage you won't get until that expires,, 36/36. But the cost is ok, check with WE on cost of starting a month before 36/36 comes. If same cost, you can wait, if more, ????

I still haven't heard from anyone with experiences with WE.

ARE THERE ANY OUT THERE???? :juggl

FYI, the quote I have from WE is for after my 36/36 warranty expires this fall. I specifically asked them what it would be. The only other piece of information they wanted was what my mileage would be at that time. I estimate that I will have about 15,000 miles at that time. WE said they would still consider it a new coach.

Also, a few of the responses I have received have come directly to me as emails. I'm not sure why, but I guess that's a preference for some people.

Thanks again for responding.
