Has anyone had any problem with getting Newmar to authorise warranty work at a shop that is not a Newmar dealer? I have found the RV we want but it is 6 hours away, and I do not want to drive 6 hours to get any warranty work completed. I have a great RV repair shop two miles from my home.

Someone other to do warranty work.
Newmar has allowed other shops do their work but your shop would have to make out paper work for payments and be resonable with charges.
Give Newmar a call and ask them for assistance.

I have had nothing but positive experiences when it comes to this issue. Whether it's an RV Center, a Mobile Tech, or an emergency; it is always authorized. I think, besides the workmanship, the warranty support is a top strength of Newmar.

no problem, we usually bring to a non-authorized center that's 20min from the house vs. newmar dealer that's 3 hours. We have found the newmar dealer to be more competent at times, but thats a whole different issue.
