Wash Wax All and other waterless washes -- who uses them?
I've seen many old threads discussing wash wax all, but in the recent wash and wax threads, I've not seen anymore mention of it.
I'm curious how many people are using the lambswool vs. microfiber (which is all that's recommended on car forums, including high end and detailing from what I can tell).
Also, how many are using Aero wash wax all or similar waterless car washes.
I bought some to try out and just did half of my very dirty jeep (reality is it should probably have been traditionally washed first). I did it in the garage, so will get a better feel tomorrow in the sunlight, but it looked pretty impressive.
So, with the recent discussions of Newmar/Tiffin only recommending lambswool, have many people switched over to that, or are you still using micro fiber and how many are using wash wax all or similar?

I use it all the time. If really dirty I will do a wet wash with lambs wool first.

I tried Aero Wash Wax All. Left a very streaky finish when used dry even after three applications on the black Sikkens paint with clear coat.
Got out my old, trusty Dry Wash N Guard (DWG), one application and it removed all the Aero streaks.
Tried some McKees 37 spray on wash, this was also streaky and their wax seems to be good but they say it lasts 2 months. Also the wax didn't remove water spots from the glass. Again the old DWG did it all and lasts a year or more.

I have a 2005 RV with full body paint, ive had it for over 2 yrs, the PO obviously took care of the paint, although I don't know the details.
I wash my RV once a year, and the rest of the time I use Aero wash wax all with a micro fiber towel, which is about every 3 months.
I don't have the streaking issues.

Use it and like it a lot but I use it after the RV is mostly clean. The easiest mistake to make is using too much or getting the mop too wet. It works really nice when you find the sweet spot. I can do my whole rig with about a pint.

There instructions say the number one mistake is using too much, which leaves streaks.

Use it and swear by it. Only use it on a washed or very clean motorhome. Goes on easy, polishes much easier than wax, and leaves a great shine. Find subsequent washes are easy as dirt and insects come off without effort. I am rather fanatical about my new motorhome so I am doing it every 3 months. Mind you, we are full-timing.

No lambs wool, only a micro fiber pad for washing. Use a 50/50 mix of McGuires Gold Car Wash and Turtle Ice Car Wash, which are both sold at most Wally Worlds. Best car wash solution I have found to help keep water spots off.
NuFinish and small cheap 6" buffer.
I do try to coat the front with 303 like Newmar suggests every month.

Why the 50/50 combo?

I use Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax on my Ventana. It goes on like Wash / Wax All (which I also like very much), but seems to really bring out the shine. It also seems to last longer. It was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had a 15 year old Newmar with the original paint that looked brand new. He said the Slick Mist was all he ever used.

I use the Aero stuff and am very pleased but more importantly the CEO is pleased.
Prior to the Aero system I bought the lambswool Mary Moppins and a CR Spotless system. This worked fine but found this to be a PITA as a full timer. Park water restrictions plus set up/take down was a hassle. Sold the CR Spotless but still have the lambswool for washing the toad.

I too found that the wash wax all streaked if you're not careful to wipe it dry quickly. I use Meguiar's Detailer. Does just as good a job and much less streaking. I just use it for bugs and to clean off water spots. If the coach is dirty, I wash it first.

I washed traditionally then applied Meguirs M20 polymer sealant. After that application I have used both the Aero Wash Wax All and the Meguirs Ultimate Waterless Wash and Wax. I prefer the Meguirs product as it is less prone to streak. Probably due to my impatience to get the job done.
I think it really just boils down to your preference and experience with brands. I have tried many other brands but end up in the Meguirs camp. I think I just like fragrance of their products better.
