watching motorhome being built

When owners say they have watched at the factory, was it really that you could only see your motorhome when you take a factory tour?? I am being told I can not stay all day, but only come when the tours are going on.

You can only see it as part of the daily tours. Most of the year a tour at 10am and 1pm. Winter is only the 10am tour. Depending on where it is in the build process you will be able to go inside. That's usually towards day 3 or 4.

Typically the tour guides will let you go ahead & spend extra time checking out the build. I went for ours & usually was able to spend 15-20 min in and around it on each tour. I lucked out on 1 tour where no one else showed up & we spent about an hour hanging out at it. Even though you can't stay all day I still think if you can go it's well worth the trip!

It is true that you can only see what is happening during the tours and depending on the tour person and size of the group you might be able to spend some additional time. We spent the whole week there and went on every tour. The final day before it headed to paint we went inside and checked everything out. We actually thought it was fun and rewarding at this was our first motorhome and this experience only enhanced our excitement about taking delivery.

thanks for all the replies, I am going to every tour that I can. I was just wondering if I needed to step up more, but sounds like I will be doing what everybody else is. THANK YOU

We are here now watching our build and it is soooo exciting. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. Plus you have the chance to meet other irv2 members. We were able to meet 4 of them and put faces to names. You also get to see how detail oriented the workers are.
