Water dripping from chassis

We have a 2016 Ventana 4369 on a Freightliner chassis and noticed water leaking (slow drip) from underneath the chassis/basement today at a rest area. The water is dripping from the center of the basement just behind the first basement bay. The fresh water is 65% full, water pump is off, and we’ve driven in rain for the last 2 days (but not today). Could it be accumulated water from wet roads? Preliminary check of basement compartments are dry.

Same exact thing happened on our 17DS after driving a few days in heavy rain. We had a tech look at it and he said he had seen many like this and that it is normal for these coaches. Not sure I agree but there does not seem to be any damage to the coach so it’s on my back burner for now.

Any chance it's condensation from one or both of the roof-top air-conditioners? Depending on our coach's leveling, we can get little drips of air-conditioner condensation at one or more of the corners of the coach, as well as in the middle.

That said, so far that drip has never come from the center of the bottom of the chassis such as your photos show. But each coach is different.

What is directly above this area where the drip is? It appears to be about mid coach, which is inline with the oasis I am guessing? Too far forward to be caused by the wheels, so it appears.

Could it be water sloshing from the fresh water tank overflow? That's been an issue for some folks.

Thank you to everyone who replied with suggestions. I’ll try to address some of them here.

Our air conditioners have not be run in several days and our condensation drains onto the roof and then off the roof gutters.

The drip is about 4 feet behind the front wheels and our Oasis is further back. The bay just above the leak is the first full pass through bay with no known plumbing in that area.

We hope it is just collected rain water and we’ll keep an eye on it.

It’s not dripping now, but we are parked in another Walmart with a different slope.

I seem to remember someone on the forum a while back with a similar problem that...I think...was related to water collecting in a part of the chassis structure and leaking out. You might try doing a search via the IRV2 search function to find it.

Rain water collecting in the chassis is pretty much what the tech told us it was. Ours stopped within a few hours of being parked. Pretty much sure it was rain water and not related to any “wet” system in the coach.

We had this issue on our VTDP 3725. Tech found that water accumulated in the long tray at the bottom of the FWS. The drain holes in the tray were supposed to align with drain points in the chassis. They did not and the water diverted to the belly pan that runs the length of the coach. It accumulated there and would pour out if the coach was on a tilt. If level ours would leak at the center of the coach. I think there is still an “adventures of newbee” post from a few years back on the forum that covers our experiences.

We had this with our 2017 DS and was identified at Nappanee. Had been in rain all day on drive there from Pittsburgh area. When I stopped at the Ohio/Indiana border water was pouring out but after 5-10 min was just dripping. Newmar said water was entering the dry bay from the rear wheel wells. They removed the pan you show in your picture and sure enough insulation was wet, which they removed and inspected the basement subfloor which was damp but not damaged. This area was left open about 5 days and dried out. Repair for water entering was to seal area on foundation that had a void during manufacturing. Reinstalled new insulation and pan and sealed. I had no wet areas inside my basement compartments.

Concern would be insulation being wet and rotting basement subfloor along with mold issue. Mine was found immediately so I had no issue there. This is a manufacturing issue and should be covered under warranty I would think even though beyond the 1 year.

If you pm I can elaborate more.
