Water filter cartridge size
Is there a size disignation for canisters that fit the 2016 Vetana water filter case? Probably answered elsewhere, but I sure could not find. Also, were do you normally buy your replacement canisters? Thanks.

This is the typical element used in MH full house filters. This is a Watts #8 Carbon block filter. There are others of the same dimension that are cheaper but are not Carbon Block filters.
Amazon is one source but they can be found at Camping Worls and most RV supply stores. I change mine every year in the spring. I also use a Camco in line filter at the pedistal to filter out the big chunks.
You also likely have one or two inside the coach that are #3 Inline filters for a drinking water tap or Ice Maker.

The MAXVOC-975RV is the one that came installed on our Ventana... I would compare flow rates with the one that Dennis mentioned. His has a better price...and perhaps better flow.

Another source: http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com.
I've purchased items through their website. Great pricing yet a small enough operation to answer your questions and return your phone calls.

Thanks all. Called the rv water filter store and got a good lesson on filters. After 10 years I thought I knew something. Surprised by how much I learned. Good folks at the store.

So what filter did you select for your Ventana?

I bought thr F1pb. This will replace the stock filter. Got a RV-SED1 for when I fill the tank (house filter is not in line for filling the tank). And got an on-the-go water softener. Not as fancy as some folks but should give us a clean water supply. Buying a filter system is quite complex. Am sure I will change the system over the years. There are a lot of opinions on the best system. I'm not smart enough to take a position.

Hey Everyone--
I recently had a very unpleasant experience at a lovely campground that has well water as it's supply source.

I get my filters on line from a great company--

They even remind me via email when I should reorder---
The moral of my/this story is that we should all use these washer/screens at the input water source-

Newmar uses a standard 10 inch. filter with many different micron filtering. Can be purchased any where from 5$ to 40$ depending on microns and location of purchase.
