Does the dual canister whole-house filter system do ALL the water - shower & heads?

My 2015 did. It's made by Watts and is located in the wet bay. I have heard it is good for removing harmful sediment as well as a bad taste etc. It is just "one" canister though as I see some have optioned up to more elaborate systems.

To answer both your questions:
In my DS all the water tanks (fresh, gray, black) are approximately in the area of the water bay, but I don't know the precise location of each one.
The filters on my coach were plumbed in by me. They are the second thing the water hits (after the pressure regulator), and all water coming into the coach is filtered.

So I assume you do not have a gravity fill for your fresh water Tank?

That is correct. Pressure hose connect only.

My service manager was Jonas Gingerich, and just in case you're interested in the surge protector, I ordered the Progressive Industries

Do not get the portable unit unless you install it in the coach, get the permanent mounted unit, then you are not going to forget it at a campground and give some one a great Christmas present.

I like the external. In the highly unlikely event that the surge protector literally explodes into a fire breathing, melting hunk of junk I'd like it to happen outside the coach. That being said I don't think I have ever read a posting about either of the two major brands having that type of catastrophic event.

I think the odds of your propane tank/range/hot water heater/RV refer becoming that fire breathing dragon are orders of magnitude larger than the power monitor/surge suppressor. But that's just my opinion, oh yeah, I have had one installed for over 10 years and AT LEAST twice a year it has saved my coach, it more than payed for itself the first year!
Inside or out, GET ONE!

I noticed that when you installed the duel filter system you have it plumbed so you can bypass the filters if need be. When would you need to bypass it?
