Can anyone tell me where i can buy a replacement fresh water hose for the reel that came in my mountain arie? It looks like 1/2" npt on the reel end and a 3/4" garden hose fitting on the other end. It is 35' long. I believe it is made by "reel craft". I looked at their web site but i coulden't find replacement drinking water hose. Thank you ahead of time........

I made my own. The cost of the replacement hose (can't remember where I found one) was way, way outrageous. And given that the original hose only lasted about two years, I was ready for a better quality replacement.
I bought a high quality 50' water hose from the RV shop, cut to length (actually was able to add a few feet) and installed a fitting for the reel. I do not recall the size of the fitting to connect to the reel, but 1/2" npt does not sound right to me. I may have converted the fitting to 3/4" garden hose before connecting. Your coach is older, so the design may have changed.
I do recall that the fitting I used to connect to the reel would not fit through the hole in the reel to get to the connection point. Apparently, the manufacturer intended to force owners to buy the manufacturer's replacement hose. An air die grinder and touch up paint was needed.
When I installed the reel, I drilled through the bottom of the wet bay, installed galvanized bolts all the way through, and used two pieces of flat steel to bolt the reel to the bottom of the belly board. The OEM mounting system was not sufficient to hold the reel in place.
If you are contemplating making a hose, let me know and I will unroll mine to see what I used to connect to the reel.

927,
I have a newly purchased 08 All Star that did not come equipped with a hose reel but I'm thinking about adding one. Any chance you could post some pics or send them to me directly? Thanks

I would be happy to send you pics, but the thread deals with replacing the hose on a ReelCraft hose reel. It sounds like you are contemplating installing a complete hose/reel, not just replacing the hose. If I was replacing the complete assembly, I would do some research to determine what other systems were available. I have never been very happy with the ReelCraft system, and they are expensive.
Let me know if you need anything else.

927,
I will do some research, thanks. I was interested in seeing how generally the Newmar folks did their install. I will search some of the other threads as well.

How about two 25' white hoses from Walmart. Total around $24.
